George has been up in Scotland over the weekend having a little check over of the RIB that’s going to take us round the UK in August. George comments “The boat is awesome. Definately the right one for us. RIBtastic! Cruises at up to 50 miles an hour!”
A few photos are on the flickr account on the right hand side of this page. Bring on August!
Holy Moly! A big thanks to Bob from St Andrews for looking after his RIB so well. The engine looks as though it’s never done a mile and runs as smooth as… well it’s pretty smooth ok? This was my first intro to power boating and as a man with a couple of months sea time traveling at 3kts, it was certainly an exciting experience to hammer the throttle and get instantly up on the plane at 50kts!
We’ll pick her up in the next week or so, change the dive set up for a pair of jockey seats with extra fuel tanks underneath and bingo bongo bango. Roll on Cows Week!

Hi gbrib
Just read your comments of 10th June – why only a couple of “jockey seats”? Thought there were going to be four of you – jockey saddles might be more appropriate if the sea is rough, bearing in mind you intend to ride the waves at 50 kts!
Hope you have a fantastic and safe journey without injury.
Best wishes – Sue from Cornwall
